Dancing the night away at The Elms Resort and Spa

We absolutely had a ball working with Nate and Erin.  What an adorable couple and so full of personality! They chose some great bright pinks and fuchsia colors, along with gold touches.  They made some great table numbers, as well as a monogram for their ceremony that blended really well with all the floral.

I was actually a bit worried about the weather for a bit but the cold and ice stayed away so they could do some beautiful outdoor photos. As if right on cue, big bold snowflakes lightly fell into the night while friends and family danced the night away.

Blushing Pinks at the Elms Resort and Spa

The wedding and reception of Mallory and Scott took place at the beautiful historic Elms Resort and Spa. I absolutely love this amazing historic hotel and the weddings we do there are among some of my favorites.

Mallory wanted to use a combination of beautiful blush pinks, with touches of cream and soft greens. Her inspirations were romantic, soft and lush flowers, with also a touch of unique garden flowers. Flowers we used included gardens roses, astilbe, larkspur, ranunculus, laceflowers, gladiolas, and hydrangea.

A beautiful display of hanging flowers on their outdoor gazebo provided a great backdrop for the ceremony. Reception displays included beautiful vases of gladiolas, tall silver stands with fresh floral, and a mix of silver containers, mercury glass, and glass luminaries.

Blushing pink at the Elms

So I am in love with the Elms Resort and Spa. Every time I go up there, I feel as if I am transported into a era of time gone by. I simply love everything about it. The weddings we have done there have ranged from formal to garden romance and they all have had the beautiful backdrop of this historic building, manicured grounds, and old-fashioned hospitality.

For the wedding of Jennifer and Joshua soft pink shades of floral were used. Beautiful roses and lush hydrangea were featured the most. A very soft and romantic look was created by adding soft pink napkins, along with sweetheart rose clusters at each place setting.

Original plans for an outdoor wedding were changed since the weather called for rain. The beautiful Regent ballroom was transformed into a pink paradise with large lush arrangements, a flower filled chuppah, and a petal filled aisle.
